Lawrence Shopping Center was a diamond in the rough when JJOP purchased the distressed property in 2017 from a lender who foreclosed on the previous property owner. Despite its 50% occupancy rate and run-down appearance, JJOP undertook a multi-million dollar property redevelopment. As a result of this investment and JJOP’s hands-on management approach, the occupancy rate rose to 97% in just three years.

Located on the heavily-trafficked Route 1 near Princeton, New Jersey, the 365,000-square-foot shopping center is home to several national retailers, including Starbucks, LIDL, Five Below, AutoZone, Dollar Tree, and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. These anchor tenants have made the property an attractive home for new retail tenants, contributing to significant, steady growth.
